Daisy Trudell-Mills

Daisy Trudell-Mills is a queer, Santee Dakota, Mexican/Euro-American artist from Mora, New Mexico. Her work has been exhibited throughout New Mexico and in the Pacific Northwest. Trudell-Mills was awarded the Lorraine Shula Scholarship in 2017, and was a recipient of the National Museum of Women in the Arts Scholarship in 2019. She received the SURFACE: Emerging Artist of New Mexico Award. Trudell-Mills earned her BFA from New Mexico Highlands University and her MFA from the Institute of American Indian Arts.
