The Work of Joel-Peter Witkin

The work of world-renowned photographer Joel-Peter Witkin is evocative, thought-provoking, controversial, and technically masterful. Learn more about Witkin in Leslie Linthicum’s article in the Spring 2023 edition of El Palacio, “An Honest Instinct.” We present here a selection of Witkin’s photographs that was too sensitive to publish in print, but that deftly illustrates the artist’s work.
